Web Site And E-mails" A quick note from Neal R. Voron, co-founder of RyKy Records and webmaster of AddYourAudio.com... Adding audio to our RyKy Records (tm) web site was a critically important decision. Visitors want to hear introductory soundclips of our songs before investing in purchasing a CD album. They want to be happy with their purchase, and we want them to be happy with our music. We found that adding streaming audio to accompany our song lyric pages is extremely easy with BYOAudio. Once we have an .mp3 soundclip ready, we simply upload the file to BYOAudio, click on a few buttons to generate HTML coding, and drop the coding into our web pages! Recording voice messages is easy, too... You can create an audio file using your computer microphone and software, or -- do as I prefer... call a toll-free number and record your voice message over the phone! I especially like being able to have visible and/or hidden audio players. A visible player gives the web site visitor full control over the playing of the audio. A hidden player enables the webmaster to have the audio start automatically when the web page is loaded. To see an example of a web page with a visible player, visit the page featuring our lyrics to the song, Please Do Not Spam Me. To see an example of a web page with a hidden player, visit the page featuring our lyrics to the song, For The Heroes. And, to see an example of a web page with both visible and hidden players, visit the page featuring our lyrics to the song, Dream The American Dream (the hidden player plays the introductory soundclip; the visible player plays a voice clip of the songwriter discussing the song). If adding audio to your web site or emails is something you are looking to do, I recommend that you consider BYOAudio. Sincerely, Neal |
